candied yams....blech!!!!!!! I was at my mom-in-laws and she made them as a side and put a load on my plate. I forced myself to eat some of them, but thought I was going to die. I was never so miserable in my life. After that, no one is allowed to put food on my plate but me:)
(also hate olives, avacado and mushrooms - oh - and any meat)

I went to a Chinese buffet once and grabbed some fried chicken. I took a huge bite and it was oddly crunchy. When I took it out of my mouth I realized that I had just bit into a chicken foot. It was disgusting. I guess I should have read the little tab. Oops!!!

At a Vodka Bar in Chicago a few years ago, my friend & I ordered a "sampler" of Russian appetizers that were allegedly traditional snacks to eat when drinking multiple kinds of vodka. One of them was a partly-pickled spiced fish 'fragment', which we promptly christened "Benjamin Moore Fish", because it tasted just like fresh paint smells!

My mother's home-made cole slaw.
It had the consistency of wet sawdust.
Only the sawdust was tastier.
