If He created everything then he created AIDS and cancer. If He can create AIDS and cancer, surely, by the same logic, He can cure AIDS and cancer.

That question is what keeps me desperately clinging to the phrase "everything happens for a reason"! If I believe that God is perfect, all knowing, then yes he knows how.

for me God is the infinite, so nothing is out of reach of his/her ability... perhaps there are lessons to learn in life that require suffering; people do appreciate life more in the face of such calamity, which is so sad when you think of all the healthy people who waste life; it's a tough question, and the answer is different for everyone, it's just what you choose to take out of the experience and being positive in the face of darkness that makes people stronger and admirable

I happen to be a good friend of God's, and I regret to inform you that he was sick the day they were explaining antiviral medications and cancer cures in school.
But he did show up for the class where they taught how to incite riots and mass hysteria.

No, but I feel that Mother Nature does; you are not implying that "medicine" is going to solve it do you? I honestly think alternative healing has the answer to most of our problems
