if he can't except you for how you are then you don't need him, let him see thats he's missin' out.. and the whole thing on girls being taller is such a thing of the past, no one cares about that anymore, well adults anyway.. there are alot of famous couples where the girls taller, find those and point it out to him and let him know that it hurt your feelings that your height was the issue keeping you two apart, but if it's that big of a deal you'll find someone better who isn't as immature about something no one cares about! good luck and best wishes! p.s and keep drinking milk cause your bones aren't worth losing over a KID like that! =)

I'm 5'9" and have been since I was 14 so I towered over guys until high school. Many guys get insecure about people especially women who are taller then them. It doesn't end when a guy reaches adulthood either. I'm 28 and I've had guys tell me not to wear high heels while I'm out with them. Anyway, there is nothing you can do about your height. Don't stop drinking milk because it's important to get enough calcium while you are young and still building bone mass. Eventually you'll stop growing and he'll hit a growth spurt. Until then be proud of your height. Treat it like an asset.

Well I am not sure what to tell you on this one besides he is just insecure in him self. You know there is a idea of what a girl is supposed to be like look like and all that. Just keep in mind most models are 6 foot tall not 5 foot. Maybe you could remind him of this and if he still don't want to go out just find someone else. Someone that won't worry about the height. Don't beat yourself up about being tall. I am five 3 and it isn't great being short either.

As you mentioned, you're only in junior high, it's not like it's the end of the world. Besides, girls physically mature quicker than guys do, so by the time you both are mentally mature (I mean, junior high--you guys are what, 11-13 years old?) he'll have grown tall enough to match (or even surpass!) you. I wouldn't get too hung up on it.

I would talk to him and ask him if its really true hes uncomfortable with your height. Maybe you could wear flats to make him more comfortable if hes insecure about it.
It sounds like he is the one with the problem. Let him know it doesnt bother you that he is short. You like him because of who he is. Seems like he is really insecure. If talking to him doesnt help it maybe better to move on and find someone who can like you for the person you are. Hey look at Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes!! good luck.

Girl when such a friend insults who you are like that, he's the wrong dude for you. Always love yourself. You are as you are suppose to be. Lad doesn't understand that basic fact. Time to find somebody who gets it. You go on & drink that milk & keep yourself healthy.

Sweetie dont worrie your right he will grow im really tall 2 and my bf was 4 inches shorter than i am guess what? yeah 1 yr latr and hes 1 inch taller than me! tell him you like him and if that makes him feel uncomfterble than you can wait till hes taller but um in the meen time be friendz w/beneifits wink wink

If he can't accept you for who you are, he isn't worth it. I know I probably seem like those moral telling people, but it's true. There are many other guys out there, and especially once you reach high school. If you really do like him, tell him how you feel and encourage him about his height.

OMG !! I am 5'11" and when I was in junior high I was taller than all the boys. It was awful. They wouldn't ask me out to dances or dates. But....
Now than I'm older, men totally dig the fact that I'm tall!!
Don't worry girl... you're perfect just the way you are!!

tell him that when he grows he's not gonna want a girl that short so he should get u while he still has the chance.

you could go for someone better!! you deserve a better guy!
