It is a slang and when somebody says
me vas a dar bola?
they mean = to take into account, to take notice of
are your going to pay attention to me?
This is if someone is interested (falling in love with) in someone else but is feeling ignored. It is used in Perú.
Hope this helps.

It may be a colloquialism, or local street talk.
As it stands it would say: "Are you going to give me ball?" Conceiveably it can be a vulgar phrase used by a female to request sex.
On the other hand, an often-heard phrase in Spanish is: "Me vas a dar la bola?" = "Are you going to give me the ball?" This would be said in some ball game. (Note the "la" in my sentence that's missing in yours.)

actually, depends on where the person who said it is from, spanish can be a complicated language, for example compare castellano to catalan(spain) but even in latinamerica, it can have different meaning, for example, i was soo confused when i heard a guy from Argentina say the word "boludo" it sounded to me like he was telling this other guy that he had big..well.... balls; anyways, it can mean they are asking you if you plan to mess them up or something like that, but it could also mean something sexual like some people mentioned before.
but in mexico there is yet another option of the meaning, "dar bola" can also mean to clean shoes, in this case im sure its not what whoever told you that meant, but just in case you wanted to know.

I speak Spanish, though not natively. I haven't run into this term used this way before, but I understand it to mean, "Your going to mess me up." Or, "Your going to cause me problems." Bola does not mean ball in spanish when used in this manner.

It is an argentinian expresion: are your going to pay attention to me?
It's quite rude but accetable if you are talking to a young person. But you don't say that to your granny or to someone you don't know.
