I'm 15 and 5'0, my mom is slightly taller than me right now, and my dad is about 6'3 or so. Is there a chance I could reach 5'3 by the time I'm 21? I really don't want to be stuck like this for the rest of my life, people think I'm about 9 or 10 right now. :(

I'm sort of wondering if any adults grew taller past this age, because my biology teacher said she has stayed her current height since she was in 8th grade! (She's really short too).

I'd say - wait and see. I'm 19 now and 5"1 (Been like that since about.... I dunno, year 9?).

Apparently, some people are still growing in their twenties (Although I think that's quite rare).

If you're still short when you're 21, then learn to love it!

a) You can be picked up more easily (as in carried about)
b) You can find clothes in kids' sizes if you shop around and try stuff on (Almost all of my trousers are kids' ones as I have shorter legs than normal)
c) It's easier to make yourself look taller than shorter (If you want to be taller, wear heels/wdges/platforms. My Buffalos ROCK!)
d) You don't have to worry about gonig through doorways

Some people say that you can grow taller until certain time of age, and it's definitely not 15. The best thing you can do is get enough nutrition, drink milk to strengthen your bone and teeth, and don't forget to sleep enough since your body grows while you were sleeping, trust me.. Do exercise like swimming, it really helps! And if you have tried every ways and still in the same height, don't be ashamed, coz that's how God wants you to be and His creation is perfect already...

It is impossible to say. Ask your mom if she remembers if she grew taller after 15. I grew a couple of inches after 15, and so did my daughters. I stopped at about 5'3" and they are all taller than me.

Whatever happens, you will begin to look older as you mature. The main thing is to enjoy life and don't let your height bother you too much.

My aunt grew a couple of inches when she was in her mid 20s. I dont know if it helps but she swam ALOT because she was a swimming instructor. I heard swimming helps but I guess it depends on different people. So I'm pretty sure there's a huge possibility that you'll get taller.

I am 15 and at 5'0 also, it sucks. My doctor told me that I probably won't grow but maybe an inch taller, so I don't know how much hope you have.
