Actually, Im pretty sure some do, its just that, to the hundreds of Muslims I have asked the question, none have said "yes, its wrong".
This is what they say instead:

Notice the intentional non-answer. He is not saying he is against slavery. He wants you to believe he is, but he wont say it diretly, cause hes not. Muhammad owned slaves, thus owning slaves in Islam is forever excellent conduct. No exagerration people. Muslims know this, but for obvious reasons, are not forthcoming to westerners about it.
"Muhammad treated them good" --
What slavemaster doesnt make this claim? Do we have the slaves account? People, tell me if I am wrong, but to my knowledge, Muslims are the only slave apologists in the world. In other words, they are the only people who would make the case that slavery can be good or that slavery itself isnt a "bad treatment".
Muslims, I have news. "Slavery" by defintion, is bad treatment. (sigh)....oh why bother explaining.

Notice "Deshi's" answer below. He said "I would say Islam discourages slavery".
If thats so, then you would have no problem saying "yes you jerk, slavery is definetly wrong, and I am Muslim!".
Notice he didnt say that. If Islam really did discourages slavery then it should almost certainly be because its "wrong".

Slavery is authorized in Islam. The slave has rights. Slavery is authorized. Have a uncommon day. Do you consider slavery began with Prophet Muhammad? It turns out such as you do. Well it did not. It existed earlier than the days of Abraham. And no Muslim will consider you. Have a uncommon day.

They believe in slavery just as Christians do.
Not all slavery was bad treatment. In ''olden times'', Jews had slaves. But, there were laws on how to treat them. They were to be treated as the family----------the same food, good clothing, shelter, and favorable working hours. They had Shabbat off. After 7 years, they were to be given their freedom.
Slavery was the ''norm'' in these cultures you are condemning. And, there is, I am afraid, still a big slave trade in today's societies.

and Muhammad forbid muslims to call them slaves, but to call them my boy and my girl. Islam solved the problem of slavery step by step.

i would say that islam discourages slavery. in the quran it encourages releasing slaves. it doesn't specifically ban slavery, but it does say that you should treat the slave as an equal. he/she should get the same quality of housing, clothing, etc. as the slave owner. so i hope that answers you'r question.
