Yes, they do have it. If your in a suite on Princess its free. If you have to pay for it, its quite expensive, not worth it because my experience was.....it was so slow, took you forever to get to where you wanted to be or did not work at all. I think its probally best to forget about the Internet while on your cruise and enjoy the trip. Every port you get to, usually has a whole line up of pay phones, get an international phone card and call anyone you would want to e-mail. Cheaper and faster.

Almost all of the cruise ships now have an Internet Cafe, so it is certainly available. Free? Probably not! If you have booked a cruise, just take a look at the ship's deck plan to locate the Internet Cafe or Library location. Depending on the cruise you are taking (or thinking about), you will probably run into times when the Internet is not available because they depend on satellite service...and they tend to move around a lot :-). Cheap or expensive is relative...the cruise line can tell you what options they have.

I know for a fact that Norwegian Cruise Line has internet. They have an internet cafe as well as internet hookups in the staterooms. But, it costs 10 cents a minute.

By now they should all have it. But, it can be fairly expensive. On our cruise it was not included in the base price.

I remember I went cold turkey on our last cruise...it just wasn't worth the money to me. See, I really can stop anytime. I can go without email, and Yahoo questions and the stock market report...just give me a minute to check the weather forecast, then I'll log off. Promise.

They had Internet access on the Princess Cruise line also, both wireless and with installed computers.

I know they had wireless access on the Carnival Cruise ship I was on you do have to pay for it, I would imagine most cruise lines would have internet set up.

Yes, but it is expensive. If you have an expensive cabin then it is free, but the cheap seats have to pay by the minute. Princess has a frequent cruiser club, if you are a member of that then it is free. But since you asked the question, then I guess that means you have not been on a cruise before.

yes, at extremely unreasonable prices

on the norwegian cruise i went on, it was $40 for 90 minutes

i would say, just leave things be for the week or so, your on the cruise to relax anyways, leave business at home
