Did I know this? Yes, I did. Does this fact impress me? No, it doesn't. Rote memory has used to educate/indocrinate millions all over the world, particularly children, at the expense of these children/learner's minds. If you find robotic regurgitation of ideas without the proper understanding of their fuller meanings and consequences, then you would be quite happy in author George Orwell's future society "1984" where "War is Peace" and "Ignorance is Strength." It would be far more impressive if these children could debate and analyze the Koran, something they were never taught to do.

I have heard that, and it is credible. So what? Now, if the Qur'an were credible, maybe you would have something. (And then again, maybe not.) I haven't memorized the US Tax Code, but to do so would be more useful.
