No, you should try and chew some tobacco while you're at it. As a matter of fact, try to suck a golfball through a gardenhose while you're at it too, any pressure to suck the clotting out helps alot! You definatly don't want it to heal fast at all, that's just bad for your gums, try to get it as infected as it can possibly get!

It is bad to smoke anything after wisdom tooth extraction. For one thing, it causes suction. For another, it introduces contaminants into the mouth. Both can interfere with healing.

We aren't supposed to smoke anything at all after an extraction because it creates suction in the socket, and that can lead to dislodging the clot that is at the base of the socket.

Make magic brownies, instead.

Yes, but not because it is marijuana. It is because it would be an irritant to you recent extraction. Best not to smoke anything until your wound has healed. You are opening the wide door of infection by smoking anything.

Given that I'd say it's bad to smoke marijuana in any circumstances: YES

However, after wisdom tooth extraction there may be additional effects depending on the mode of anaesthetic used for the dental procedure.

Particularly if a neurolept anaesthetic or a general anaesthetic was used, it is possible to have higher rates of paranoia or psychiatric symptoms if this is combined with THC

ignore the first guy, hes a moron. its not good to smoke anything with an open wound in your mouth. instead of smoking it try baking it though. plenty of good sites with recipes and instructions. no messy smoke to screw up your mouth, will all of the fun. plus, nobody will bust you for having some brownies and being happy.
