You should try a chemical peel. Their are several to chose from.
Blue peel - this peel is blue so you will be blue for about 4-7 days,it depends on if you have oily or dry skin, it will flake off. After the blue comes off your face will be raw but you can cover it with makeup and make sure to wear sunscreen. It takes about one month to see the results. Also start using obagi skin products these products will help to maintain your new skin.
Phenol Peel- this is a really deep peel. It is actually what they call a "Control burn". This peel will take everything off, but the thing with this one is if you tan you will not be able to tan that part of your face. So sometimes people will know if you had this peel. it may leave a line at your jaw line if you try to tan.

If Ambi Skin Care works for you for the acne scars than I say stick with that. For acne, I personally use Differin Gel 1% and it works amazing. It takes a while for the results to be fully achieved though because it brings everything up to the surface.

The new lasers that doctors use to treat fine wrinkles also help to clear acne scars (and they do a good job with very little down time)

If you mean hyperpigmentation marks, use a product with glycolic acid, such as the DDF 10% glycolic toner, since glycolic can help exfoliate skin so newer skin resurfaces more quickly. If you have depressed or pitted scars, try microdermabrasion; you can see the dermatologist for a professional procedure or you can buy microdermbrasion kits at the drugstore--L'oreal and Neutrogena both have some.

There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html
