Websites, books, personal experience...etc?

I'm suppose to do a essay on them.

But please don't give me the encyclopedia type thing on them.

I want websites & books on peoples views who have never been in the family, on the family. Peoples views who were born in the family & still there. Peoples views who have joined the family. & peoples views who were in the family but not anymore.

Basically I want real views & not some encyclopedia info on "The Children Of God" !

Thanks =)

P.S. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about you don't have to answer..= D

It is a cult that encourages open sex.

There is child abuse in light of this.

I talked to a 16 year old member who told me "We dont have to have sex if we dont want to."

Clearly an abusive manipulative group. Unfortunately they prey on people actually seeking God. Most of them young.

I have experience talking to many members and spending time with them on a camping trip.

They were kind. But wolves in sheeps clothing.

you can message me about the experience.

Wow! They're still around? They been around since the '60's! I almost joined them, way back when. I was in my late teens, abused at home and alienated from everyone and everything, and when I visited their commune I was touched by their peaceful family atmostphere and their natural way of living. Some other things aobut them, however, i wasn't so crazy about, such as the dictatorial hold of their founder over them, the long hours spent prostelytising on the streets with their lurid comic book style literature, and the practice of "flirty fishing", or seducing strangers for sex and an opportunity to proselytise. You can probably find former members in online groups for surivors of cults, or via google or your favorite search engine. Good luck!

A good look in the New Testament should teach a lot.

I am a child of God and part of the family of God. I was born into this family by the new birth. This family has no borders. I have been around the world and been in the presence of my kin - closer than my own earthly brother who does not know the Lord. We in the family called the Church have one Father God, and one Lord who is Jesus Christ the only begotten Son of God, and one Spirit. We worship God together and one day will be in Heaven together with Him. We live for the Glory of God and for his purpose.

historic kin values. women were typically in fee of the companion and youngsters and elevating the children. they are adverse to gay couples because a kin is "meant" to be a father, mom, and youngsters. no longer 2 fathers or 2 moms. i'd wager that it began in early biblical circumstances, at the same time as they first got here up with the anti homosexuality ingredient. although the ladies elevating the children and stuff became probable for the reason that waaaaaaay back in historic previous.
