I have a half pitbull half german shepard/ siberian husky mutt that will tear apart everything. He shreds kongs up. He eats metal. The only thing that has held up was a heavy duty horse toy ball (they are rubber with a handle) He tore off the handle, but the rest of the ball is fine. Everything else he has shredded to bits, including large cow bones to gnaw on- they last about an hour.
His favorite toy- very inexpensive, is frozen horse poop balls :)

At Target they sell a line of dog toys that last my GSP a long time, and he LOVES to tear things apart. The line is called "Yankers," I believe. Try this website:

They are the best dog toys I've found, and the only ones I'll buy. (BTW, the fish is the best one, as there are no arms or legs to grab onto and bite off.)
