I think it's fine. For one, how else will you practice the craft of writing if not by doing it. Start now. Putting your ideas into words will also stimulate an increasing number of ideas.
By the way, in a couple days Eragon, the movie, will MASSIVELY hit the theaters. Its author was 15 when he wrote it and his family published it. I bet he started way younger than 14 with much smaller stories.

Of course not. It's NOT bad, OR wrong. Just the opposite...it's very good. Write a story. Write all the stories you want to. Maybe you'll grow up to be a writer. At the very least it shows you are creative. Good for you.

I think it's very good that a 14 year old would write a story! It tells me that they're knowledgeable and eager to learn, which not many 14-year-olds are nowadays. Good for you! :)

it is not bad or wrong for a 14 yr old to write a story unless he/she is neglecting his/her homework and doing poorly in school... are you that 14 yr old? if you are, excelling in English would be a good start, then you'ld have good vocabulary, good punctuation, good sentence structure, and good spelling to help you write a great story!!! :)
