A belly button piercing requires a hollow needle to remove the unneeded skin from that area and to reduce the possibilities for infection. So STOP clean it out with 50/50 peroxide and water and let it heal. get it done professionally don't risk a serious infection. And something else you don't have any nerve endings around your belly button a numbing agent isn't required in that area.

actually, i just got my belly button pierced today so i would have to say that there is NO way you are gonna be able to get the ring in even if you do get the needle all the way through. a belly button rind is much thicker than an earring. they are not at all alike. i would say quit now and clean the area with alcohol for the next few days so that it doesnt get infected. if you really want to get it done, you need to get it done professionally.

Do you have any idea how many diseased you can get from doing this? We had to take my sister to the emergency room for the same thing. Her belly button ended up getting so infected and pussy that they had to DRAIN the fluids and keep her overnight. It could've been so much worse. Wait a few years, pay the thirty dollars to go to a REAL piercer and live longer. Besides, your scar is going to look absolutely hideous when you're older. Good luck with pregnancy--the scarring from your "piercing" is going to hurt a lot more than the birth pains!

all i have to say is your an idiot.....
save your allowance and get it done by a professional. what did you use? a sewing needle! WRONG the sewing needle you ued is eway to small to allow the 14g navel jewelry in....not to mention you will most liekly get an infection now...... no dont redo it, if you want a permanent scar or a NASTY infection. take a look at these sites and reconsider.....
what if you have an allergic reaction to the jewelry? is it a good grade of jewlery liek gold?? or somthign cheap liek fromt he mall or something? do you know how to take care of it? do you know what cloths you will need to wear for the first few months? do you even have the proper anatomy for one? how do you know if you pierced it right? the jewelry they used it curved, im guessing you j ust stuck it straight through.. which there is no way you will be able to get the jewelry in, did you use a hollow needle? do you have an autoclave oven to sterilize it? (boiling a needle in hot water, or rubbing alcohol on it doesn not get rid of anything) did you pierce to shallow? is the jewelry the appropriate size?
i bet you dont knwo one answer. so liek i said save you allowance and ask moomy and addy for one for you bithday sometime next year.....

I suggest you set that needle down right now and go to a professional. It isn't worth saving the 20 bucks to have a disgusting navel ring inserted by yourself that can easily be infected. A professional can get you set up and with less pain and chances of infections.

DONT REDO IT. thats probably the worst possible thing you could do. people can get serious infections from getting their belly buttons peirced, even if its done by a proffesional. doing it yourself is not a smart idea and to me, not worth it at all. tell your mom or dad cause im guessing they dont know about it and your dying to get it done go to a proffesional. but im serious, no matter how good you think it looks it wont be worth it in the end.
my friend peirced her own belly button and it was probably one of the most disgusting sites i've EVER seen.
its just gross. so go to someone who knows what theyere doing.

if you try to do it by yourself it could get infected, thats going into your stomach you know?! naval piercers sterilize the needle and everything before they do it, go get a professional to do it. its only like $35-$45 where i live to have it done. If your only 15 you don't need to worry about that anyways. wait until you get old enough, its not that far away sweety

You should definitely wait til your old enough and get it done professionally. It will get infected and scar really bad if you don't get it done right. Takes almost 6 months to a year to heal after getting it professionally done and you have to watch how you sit and what clothes you wear so as not to rub it.
Need to let it heal now and get it done professionally later.

I am guessing that your parents said you couldn't have this done, am I right? Now you need to go and tell your mom or dad, because you will probably get an infection. Not to mention that if you try to do it again you will have to stab wounds that will do nothing but scar over. Go talk to your parents, there is a reason they said no.
