She's asserting dominance over you. She knows that if she keeps you off-balance with hints that she's of greater standing than you are, you'll have to compensate by catering to her every whim.

I'd advise finding a less irritating female.

Because you are too good for her and she knows it... She wants you to believe she is the only one for you and no other girl will have you. When in reality, she knows any other girl will grab you if given the chance.

If what she says was true, she would have dumped you long ago.

Try to suggest, perhaps she should see other men and you see other women for a while... since she doesn't appreciate you...since you are not good enough for her.

Call her bluff.

Sounds like she is not good enough for you and you need a new girlfriend. Or with friends like that who needs enemies. Also sounds like she has nacisstic personality disorder. I've seen some pretty ugly people with it too! I say dump her. You deserve better, right?

Reframe the situation my friend. Imply that she's not good enough for you. Do things to back this attitude up. She should be to be with you. If not, there are several other billion women in the world

I tease my boyfriend that he is not good enough for me too. Considering i've been with him for 5 years, it doesn't necessarily mean it's true. Maybe she just wants attention. Sometimes i do it just for fun.

Sounds like she doesn't take you seriously. It's not funny when you try to do everything you can for her and you get that kind of response. You can only be yourself. I would find someone else if you cannot resolve this with her. You should talk to her about how it makes you feel.

She might want you to improve or change some things about yourself but does not have the guts to be direct. Confront her. If you are still getting the run around...then it is time to move on without her.

Well tell me, if she says she's too good for you, then why is she still with you. If anything, she's just complimenting herself. She's just messing with you, don't worry about it. If she thinks that you're not good enough for her, then she's probably not the right girl for you.

ahh maybe you aren't making her feel special enough, so she's trying to point things out.. maybe tell her once a day that you appreciated something she did, or "what would i do with out you", or "thank you so much for ---------"... just let her know that you appreciate her.. other then that i would say "sh*t your lucky to have me, someone who would never treat you like crap, someone who will always be here for you, someone who will never cheat on you, someone who will appricate you for all that you are and all that you do even though i might forget to thank you or praise you for it"....lol good luck and best wishes with the lady.. =)
