everytime I read questions about what kind of hair guys prefer..the typical answer is long, down, and straight. What is it about straight hair that guys like so much? And also about it being long?

Long, un-done hair has been a sign of sexual availability for hundreds of years. Far be it for us to argue with tradition. Besides, do you think it's a coincidence that lesbians tend to cut their hair really short?

I think it is the whole innate femininity about it being long and straight. The media has most girls with straight hair and that is what is in. Another thing may be that if a girl has curly hair then she has to do more to it and it is more trouble. Most guys I know like girls with straight hair because they can run through fingers through it. The softness to them is Representative of a woman's skin. And it being long is natural and more than often thought guys like natural beauty.

I find straight hair softer and it has that smooth uninterrupted shine to it. Curly hair is often "curled" and not natural. I personally hate any hair treatments. Also, not that you asked, but I love brunet hair over any other color. Why long? Lets just say my wife and I think it's more fun in bed than short. ;) (My hair is about 3ft long as well.)

It is because the media gives them that to look at, we as a society made that the ideal of beauty, the hot celebs and models have that look right now and since men can't think for themselves, they buy it! Real men know beauty is internal. So if you have short, kinky hair hang in there. Your Prince will come!

Guys like to run their fingers through the girl's hair. If the hair is long, more hair to run their fingers through, if it is down, obviously, easier to run fingers through, and straight, a lot easier to run fingers through.

because for them when a girl has a long hair she seems a real lady especially when it is straight which is so soft to touch.

well everyone is going to have their own opinions on this but, my idea is that the long and straight hair makes the female look more like a female as most men do not have long hair. We look more feminine and that is sexy to men. usually long curly hair is all greasy or has hard gel in it and, well, do you want to touch hair with tons of product? you can run your fingers through straight hair.

Basically, nobody wants a girlfriend that takes so much time to do something. Straight hair shows us that we dont have to wait that long if we're going on a date.
