I want to give my husband a watch for our 1st wedding anniversary. His style is 'snappy casual' -button down shirt and slacks, no tie. He is a professor and very eco/enviro-friendly . I would like a watch that reflects his style and values. Any suggestions?

Movados make decent watches that would match your husband's style. However, if he's eco/enviro-friendly, Swatch may be a better choice.

Any Swiss made "timepiece" appreciates in Value.
Try a Swiss Army Watch. They are neat with a lot of things attached.

Based on your description of him, I'd recommend Swiss Army if he's outdoorsy, Seiko if he's a bit more classic or Fossil for their great styles.

Movado watches are great...Tags are fantastic as well. Both will come with a hefty pricetag though.
