I extend my heartfelt apologies to those affected by this comment about the murder of five prostitutes.
However, if you are one of those who are simply giving me a 'thumbs down' because you consider it bad taste, let me remind you that practically all jokes ridicule one section of society or another. If you wish to 'take offence' at jokes then, apart from not going on the 'jokes and riddles' section of Yahoo Answers, you should make castigating remarks about the jokes about Irish people (racist), lepers (discriminatory against those with illnesses), those which belittle one particular gender (sexist).......the list could go on, ad infinitum, for you guys.
It was simply a play on words, for you closed-minded individuals, that pointed out the similarity between the sounding of the words, 'substitute' and 'prostitute.'
Ans finally, for those of you afflicted with dyslexia, I whaleholingly aloposige.

i have been looking through this category, reading all the jokes - and this is one of the best that i have read today.
ok i can see that i might upset a few people, but in the end - it was just a joke.
i agree that there are other jokes, and even answers, that are worse than this - to which some people feel that yahoo should open a section just for 'adult' related jokes .... but where would the fun be in that?
keep the funny stuff coming - the world needs to smile more, as there is so much bad crap around at the moment.

Ooooooooer 4 thumbs down, and yes i sent the on! But i think our questionairre has pretty much said it all i would like to say!
