Well I think I'm romantic ...
I have two perfect romantic evenings in mind that I've long wanted to try
1) There's this scene in Cinderella Story (starring Hillary Duff and Chad Murray) where they dance in the garden with violins playing in the background ... I'd like to do that ... First I'll treat the girl to a fancy hotel restaurant then I'd invite her for a walk then we'd go to this spot at the center of a garden (which I would either rent or pay someone to build just for that night) then there would be flowers all over the place and some candles, I'd invite her to dance wherein at that point musicians will play soft music
2) this one's a little bit cheaper - we start out by walking along the beach to talk with each other then somewhere along the beach in an isolated spot there would be table already set up and a waiter ready to serve us our meal, after we eat we'd go once more for a short walk, and after a couple of minutes a spot where a couple of blankets, some fluffy pillows, and a bottle of champagne awaits us, we'll then sit on the blanket looking at the stars and cuddling all night, when she gets tired I just have to press a little button in my pocket which will signal a driver to pick us up and drive us home :)
Haha sorry for the long answer, its just that I've thought about what the perfect romantic evening for me for so long that I've already conjured up these two scenarios a long time ago :)

I used to believe in "romance". I don't any more. You know why? Because the simple fact is that if a girl likes being with you, she'll be happy to follow you no matter what it is you do together.
If she wants you to be "romantic", what she means is she wants you to spend MONEY on her. The more the better. No, I am a busy man and the most romantic thing I think I can do for my girl is set aside some time and keep it free for just the two of us.
And you know what? It works. My current girlfriend is always overjoyed when I schedule some free time into my busy life to spend quietly with her. We have been dating 2 years and that is true to this day.

First we would go horse back riding into the woods and cook dinner over and open fire. We find wood and build it ourselves.
Of course after your married. Before that you have to have a chaperone. Just didn't want a bunch of righteous indignation thrown at me.
Bring a pack horse full of cans of soup or something you like.
This is by the river and after dinner you go skinney dipping.
Then curl up together in sleeping bags you zipped together and watch the stars roll through the sky. Should put a coarse rope around you though don't want a rattlesnake to crawl in bed with you they feel the warm body and like to get in your sleeping bag.
Take a gun because we have black bear and wolves and coyotes. I like to lay and hear the wolfs cry out. But somethings if the fire goes out they get to close for comfort. So you have to shoot into the air to scare them away. Coral snakes are not to good either and the tranculas are bad. But it is a lot of fun.
Live in serious rurals.

Im right here.....
A perfect romantic evening for me and a lover would involve a home cooked meal by candlelight, watching a romantic movie while cuddling on the couch, and some intimate time exploring each other on the floor beside a roaring fire.

Women's lib flushed romance down the toilet. No such thing. Courtship was where the romance came in. That first kiss after dating for a time. Loving each other so dearly that you married because you wanted to wake up to each other every morning. Now it's a one night stand and off to the next prey. Jumping out of one bed to the other. It's gone to far to ever turn it around.

HMPH, i dont do romance. And im guessing why I answered this question. But I would imagine a perfect romatic evening with someone as a candlelit quiet room with the piano playing and ordering a fancy restaurant.
BUt hey, what do I know?

In my experience, "romantic" translates to "buy me a bunch of things and perform like a circus animal for my amusement, worthless male."
Yeah, I'm sure there are some suckers left in this world. They deserve you.
