is it haram, bad or disgraceful, for a muhajaba, scarfed girl to wear eye liner (kohl)on her eyes when she goes out?.some of my friends wear it and they say its ok but im not sure if it is really appropriate or good to wear. Is it considered make up?

Assalamualaikum.........It is actually sunnah to wear Kaajal the Prophet (PBUH) used to wear it and it is healthy for your eyesight

I'm not exactly sure of the ruling but I the Quran says that women should not display their beauty except what appears ordinarily (24:31)
N I have heard that it was sunnat to wear kohl???

Would'nt think so.Perhaps in one of the islamic republics,this would be frowned upon.However in places like Indoneasia,Lebanon,Egypt,Iraq the women/girls wear light make-up,lip gloss,powder,eye shadow.

kohl is ok to wear, the prophet wore it and i think that woman at the time woar it too, you might want to ask a scholar to make sure though
