So far as I know, there has never been any mainstream tradition that rejected asexuality, per se. Jesus said, "Some were born eunuchs," which has traditionally been taken as confirmation that some people are simply born asexual.
Celibacy has always been valued in the Christian Church, right from the time of St Paul.

no...that in itself is not a sin(unless you're doing it deliberately to mock or rebel agaisnt God).
it is not a sin...many people are called to celibacy through this..or even just to the single life for a certain reason.

YOU cannot Understand "TRUE CHRISTIANITY" until you are willing to Surrender yourself to GOD and His Word!
Perhaps you should read the Gospel of John over and see WHO Jesus claimed to BE?
Thanks, RR

It is not a sin to be genetically different from the norm, whatever normal may be.

No, apparently Jesus was asexual. But he didn't produce offspring. But gay people are bad because they don't procreate. So many exciting contradictions.

No, it's not even a sin to have homosexual tendencies. It's a matter of acting on them. You can't help the way you were born, but you can help the way you live.
