Well, I'd say you're broken up for a reason, it's better to move on and get over it than to spend time playing games and using people just to try and make him jealous.

Lose that guy and go find someone who will respect you and your feelings. It also has the upside of it would make him jealous and you wouldn't really be using you new guy.
