I am doing a research project in ma English class...the topic that i chose was compare and contrastiong school in India and US..I have to interview people to do this project...i didn't know what to ask to the ppl...can u tell me some question that i can ask to the person that i am going to interview.....

What are some subjects that are taken?

what if they take a Hindi class instead of English...or maybe they don't have gym.

-I know that some schools have different shifts- a morning and evening shift.
-also i think they go to school on saturdays
-they wear uniforms
-they go home for lunch

You can ask the person you are interviewing if the schools provide transportation buses like they do in the US...

whats the grading system like?

What requirements are there for certain grades/graduation? (example: must take algebra in 9th grade)

Are classes even separated into grades?

Must you pay to go to school(in addition to taxes)?

What's the focus of the paper? Because looking at the education infrastructure (how many kids/class? how is the cirriculum structured? how many courses/school year? what subjects?) would be really different from looking at how the two systems teach a language like English.

How many children in one class? How many classes in one school? Are they government aided ? Type of faculty ? Grade or education of faculty ?Private or Public school ? Fees, Quota of reserved seats ?
