Salt and pepper, occasionally sauteed mushrooms. Most steak sauces just hide the flavor of a delicious steak

Before cooking a steak I sprinkle it with a butter substitute such as Molly McButter. This adds a great flavor and works as a tenderizer. After cooked I love sauteed onions and mushrooms.

When I eat it... NOTHING !! A1, catsup, etc are for burger meat.
Before I cook a steak I salt it and crust with course black-pepper.
I will saute some onions and mushrooms to go with a Rib-eye.
A New York Strip goes naked after a bourbon marinade.
A Filet will get a bacon-wrap.

Depends on the quality of the steak. High quality--add nothing, medium quality--A-1 and pepper, poor quality--everything I can find.

I like to add A1 steak sauce, and sometimes add BBQ sauce when your grilling it.
