I think they are called hemangiomas, tiny splotches of blood vessels. They just appear for no reason! Do I have to get them removed professionally, or can I do it somehow? I also have some on my chest area.

Commonly called cherry spots and they are easily treatable with a laser or an electric needle which is placed directly in the center of it and very quickly givin a fast jolt of electricity which closes it right up and quickly goes away, it is not a painful treatment but it does sting a little. I have had this done many times because I sneeze alot wth allergies and that is another reason you can get them

I get them too... sometimes they come from sneezing or crying really hard, or even going out in the cold. It's common in really fair, sensitive-skinned people. I think you need to see a dermatologist to get rid of them. They can give you a small injection in the site that will cause them to break up. I've also heard of people using a laser to do the same thing.
