Thats a choice you have to make. I myself am in a long distance relationship. Im in Canada, hes in the USA. I fly down to see him every other month for about 2-4 weeks per visit. Its easier for me to fly down there than it is for him to come here. We're engaged now, so we're in the process of a fiance visa for me to move there. Prices for airline tickets have gone up so much, but it doesnt stop us from seeing eachother. Whatever y'all can afford is how often you should see eachother.

are you talking about yourself?
i hope it's not an online relationship cuz if it is, it would never work out.

if you are like 20 to 25 years old you almost no chance to fly out to see her cuz you are poor.
if you are 30 or over and financially stable, you might get to see her like a few times a year.

seriously, that is awsome that you could make something like that work.. i would say about every 3 months if i had the cash saved, other then that i would make it a back and forth thing, he comes out every other and you do the ones in between.. if it could be affordable every 2 months i would do that instead.. i would for sure do it every time i had extra cash and time off work.. and i would hope that he'd do the same! just make sure it's not a suprise thing, and end up like ross and emily on the t.v show "friends" he flew to england to suprise her and she showed up in new york to suprise him.. lol but anywho i wish you two nothing but the best..and congrats! and if it's not you then to who ever it is..=)

Better make sure that's exactly what you want because it's not cheap flying. Meeting somebody in person is a little different than e-mails ans phone conversations.

No, you're a fool! You can't possibly know enough about the person as you would on a day to day basis, especially over seas!! Get on with your life, there are lots of other people to date!!!

If you're sure that it's the real thing and you both can afford the airfare...I'd visit quite often.
