If you have the certain computers that allow for it, you should be able to buy it from the dealer. However, if your like the rest of us and have ordinary computers, then you have to buy this special converter device that sells at Best Buy, I think I saw it at Wal-Mart. It sells for like $200 though.

If you want to get TV off the airwaves, you need a TV tuner, which is a piece of hardware. Some computer monitors have one built in, so you can put it in computer or TV mode.
Some websites like YouTube have video you can watch.

You need to have a TV Turner card installed on your computer. The card is in the compter or you have to buy one and install it. Those cards come with software to watch/record TV.

If you want actually tv like you have on your TV you really need an add on card inside your computer. ATI makes a card called All-in-wonder. Go to www.ATI.amd.com. It's pretty easy to install, you'll just need to run a cable to it if you have cable.

Well no. Some computer moniters allow you to connect a tv cable into it, but the is USB device that connects to your computer and allow you to attach a tv cable into it and watch and record shows. But I forgot the name of it.

there are many online free tv sites, just google them. if you want to watch local tv, you'd need to get a tv reciever, either a pc card that you install or a peripheral that allows you to do the same. those do require software, but it comes with them, and the tv websites just play in your browser with wmp or qicktime or whatever

Yes, you could go and buy windows media XP with remte, it includes a software to record and watch tv.
