And did that Angel tell muhammad to write the quran??? Was the Angel so bright, that muhammad couldn't look at it??? Was he inside a cave at the time?
Where can I read this fable online?

Lol, instersting questions... :)
Ok, um, it's not exactly a "fable", but you can find it in the Quran (sorry, I don't exactly know which part).
The angel Gabreal didn't tell muhammed to WRITE the Quran but to READ the first part that god sent down to him. The Quran wasnt revealed all at once, in the muslim faith they think it was revealed part by part. Yes,this was in a cave named Hira.
Muhammed could see the angel, and no, he wasn't so bright (lol, I mean that literally).
You can go to MUSLIM-ANSWERS.org for more info.
hope that answers all your questions! :)

No. I do not know who gave you these details but you are pretty confused we can see.
First of all, the Prophet did not see an angel IN the Quran. He was OUTSIDE the Quran. The Quran is a book which was writen and compiled later by his Followers. Maybe what you are trying to say is 'what is said in the Quran about the revelations to the Prophet?' Well here is how it goes -
The Angel Gabriel used to come to him while he was in meditation in the cave and the first word with which the Angel began was: 'READ, .....In the name of.......' The angel never told Muhammad (PBUH) to write the Quran. The prophet did it when he came back home, called his followers (who could write) and recited to them what was recited to him. The angel could have been bright but that is not for us to speculate because all Angels look the same, they are made of light. But they never BLIND us. Finally dear pal, you cannot read this online I think because it is not a FABLE! HA! HA!

He was meditating in the cave of Hira when the angel appeared to him and saud "proclaim in the name of your lord" to the illiterate prophet. After asking him 3 times he finally recited the verses. The point of the story is not how bright the angel was but what had been said. And as for the Korans, almost all of them are the same (with slight variation in the translation); but as for it's age and condition it has been untampered with. Enjoy!

yes muhammad(P.B.U.H) saw an Angel(Gabriel)but he did not ask him to write the Qur''an he ask him to repeat the first verses of the Qur''an after him.that angel was sent by God several times to teach Mohamed (p.b.u.h)the holy Qur''an. the first time he saw him he was scared ,terrified and it is true he was in cave cuz hie people worshiped some status made of rock so he was used to go to that cave and spend some time in it trying to know who is the true God ,,and I think his Great story is similar to the prophet Ibrahim (p.b.u.h).
