freshwater eel (to top off a dinner). It's just rice and freshwater eel with a band of seaweed around it. I think it's called unagi. Anyways, depending on the restaurant, it may be drizzled with teriyaki sauce. It's nice and light and flaky and the sweetness of the teriaki compliments most sushi dinners.
I'm also quite partial to to plan old ahi tuna, seered or not. Simple, refreshing, easy on the tastebuds.

Temaki (hand rolls). A large cone-shaped piece, with the nori (seaweed) on the outside and the ingredients (anything) spilling out the wide end. A typical temaki is about ten centimeters long, and is eaten with the fingers since it is too awkward to pick up with chopsticks. Temaki must be consumed quickly after being made for optimal taste and texture, as the nori cone soon absorbs moisture from the filling, making it lose its crispness and become somewhat difficult to bite through. I prefer my fillings to be prawn, salmon, tuna and cucumber slices. It is nice when it is eaten right after it is made as ingredients are fresh and there will be no wastage. You know how much you can eat.

Tuna, avocado and mayo - when you're concerned about the raw tuna, have it cooked particularly. yet somewhat there isn't any longer something scary about raw fish - it somewhat has a really basic flavour. Or go vego - my interior of sight sushi bar does a scrumptious pumpkin roll with grated carrot for textue.

My favorite type is Unagi. It's a type of eel. Make sure you get this type, because the other type isn't as good. It is very lightly cooked with an AWESOME sauce on rice.
My second favorite type is Fatty Tuna sliced on rice. It's raw, but very good.
My favorite roll is a philadelphia roll. It is crab, avocado and cream cheese rolled up.

My favorite is California rolls with edamame, vegetable fried rice,
miso soup. And if your really feeling hungry, add the steamed shrimp dumplings! Ymmmm.... Also, do not forget the eel sauce and the sweet sauce for dipping!
