M y life seems to be so messed up, so confused, I do believe there is a GOD and even when we do stupid things, even when we are given a second chance, sometimes we just can not help it doing things the way they should be done. Sometimes I try hard, I try very hard and it seems that I just don't know how to do things different. And then I wonder if even when I do make mistakes they still contribute to the plan God has for my life. I have been thru A LOT. I am not sure anymore the decisions I had to make this year were the right one. So much happened, please, help me out. I need to find some confort and encouragement. I have no family and very few people I can talk about this. Please, do say something.

Another thing: how to really let go, how to really not worry about all this and TRUST there is a God watching and controlling each event of my life. I go to Church, I pray, but I need to believe more that He is still in charge, as much as I think he isn't.

First of all, don't listen to anyone that posts against you. There is a God, and he loves more than words can exspress, so much so that he sent his son to die for you on a cross. Secondly, Take heart, all things work for the GOOD of those who LOVE HIM! I know that when you are going through the fire, it doesn't seem like there will ever be a cool refreashing pool of water on the otherside, but trust me, there is. When I say I know, believe me, I know. But you have to be ready to trust God. Know that God loves you, that he is with you, in the flames, he guides you, and at the pools, he puts you to rest. Psalms 23. Remember? Fear not evil, for HE is with you, God with protect. Moreover, he will love you, and put his arms around you, no matter what mistakes you make. Believe me, I am a huge sinner, the wrongs in my life are to many to count. But in the end God loves me, and all I can do is ask him for forgiveness, and walk in his ways, and step by step he'll lead me.

As for Trusting, cast ALL your cares onto God, for his burden is light, and your's is heavy. Learn to say "Not my will, but your's" Repeat it to yourself everyday in everyway. God knows what he is doing. Think of it like riding in the back seat of a car. No matter what you say, the person who is driving, is in control. So you should just sit back and trust the driver. God is the driver, not you. Learn to sit back and enjoy the ride, even if you go through the rain and snow, and the car pops a tire, remember. God is still in control. Learn to let go. ITs all about him, and not about you. He will protect you, and he will guide you.

God bless, and MERRY CHRISTMAS

I agree....not everything that happens is INTENDED to be for our best...we have an enemy in this world who opposes God's plan for us.... we have to distinguish between an evil even and a good one....God would not send evil..unless we were wicked and deserved it....when someting bad happens, all we can do is turn it over to god and ask him to deliver us from it....then to take what negative thing that happened, and make it into something better.... sometimes negative things are just history.... and the results are just destructive... we have to be vigilant not to have them repeated......we have to actively ask the Lord for positive things....and to heal us from what happened

how to let go...... just realize you have no choice.... things have already happened.... we are all on different walks in life.... some people never seem to have problems.... others get hit with everything....all we can do is the best we can and turn the rest over to God....sometimes it may seem hopeless, but we either trust the circumstances and our best efforts, or we trust Him, while doing our best ....those are our only choices.....

i know how sad it can be when things go wrong....this happens to me alot....i know the sense of despair.....but in the long run, negative things have made me a more caring person, and more compassionate....where others more "blessed" seem to be more superficial and cold....

maybe someday in the future, it will be more clear why the negative things have happened, and what good there was from it....in the meantime, do not give up or you will hurt yourself....maybe our rewards are in the next life or at the end of our lives.... just do not give up....or the enemy will take advantage of that....you will be ok

Well for starters the decisions you made good or bad well you can't dwell on them because you made them & you have to deale with that.
I don't think everything happens for the best, but we have to make the best of it, god will most likely let you find your way, but just because you believe in God does not mean it will be easy. You have to start building and sometimes you have to do it with out a plan and that seem to be your case so at this point what do you have to loose just do it, go and keep employment try not to make undoable mistakes and trust God will walk where you walk & will keep the bad from you, trust in yourself that either way you are going to make it, you will surive another day, remember when at war you will not win all the battles but you just might win the war.

You have to dwell on the love that the Lord has for you , what He has done for you , what He is going to do for you ! I have been it the valley as you are now !! The lessons I learned while in the valley certainly made the trip to the mountain top much easier for me ! I think most of the things you are asking readers here do for you, you should be asking of God in Prayer ? You are never , ever alone with God in your heart and mind , so spend some time there with Him , He is waiting , He is always there waiting . He never leaves you ! Sometimes we leave Him , but He never leaves us !! Turn the TV off , turn the radio off , go to a quiet place in your home and visit with Him , just you and Him and nothing else !! Read in The King James Holy Bible , in the Book of Ephesians , Chapter 6 , Verses 10 Thru 24.. May God grant you Peace and Understanding in this area of your journey !! Blessings for you today and always ** Smile , God loves you , and so do I !!!!

Sounds like the first thing you need to realize is God has not "mapped out" "planned" or "controlled" your life or anyone else's for that matter...He knows what choices you will eventually make, but that does not mean he is making them for you. He can just see the end from the beginning.
And bad things happen to everyone...every religion, race, gender, etc. That is just part of living in this world. Some bad things happen because of our own choices, i.e. a 14 year old had unprotected sex and got pregnant. And some bad things happen because of other people's choices i.e. a drunk driver killes a teenager driving home...
I am LDS (Mormon) and I can tell you, I receive countless blessings everyday from my Heavenly Father, does that mean my life is perfect and nothing bad ever happens? No, but when bad things do happen, I know I have someone to lean on that will understand, listen, and love me no matter what.

Dear Child of God, we all face these situations in life and things do seem out of control at times. To God nothing is out of control. He knows the plans He has for you and He will work these things out in your life. I am probably much older than you, so I can tell you that many times we do not see the hand of God until we have walked through the situation and looked back and say" oh yes I see where God was leading" Remember God is not the author of confusion, that is the enemy, so stand firm in your faith. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding, acknowledge Him in all your ways and He shall make your path straight. Jesus loves you little Butterfly.

There have been many times in my life both before and after my acceptance of Jesus Christ that have caused me to wonder whether life is worth living. It is usually, but not always, that after my mistakes and trials I see clearly where I went wrong, and the lessons I learned. Now, as I grow stronger in my faith, I begin to see even during the 'hard' times what is being taught to me and how my belief is purified. When I need help through the dark days, I pray and then read His word, and see ever more clearly His will for me to follow, and my joy increases. Always remember no matter what happens, and what other people might say, that He loves you, and as long as you follow Him, He will always be there, and will never give you more than you can bear. (1 Corinthians 10:13)

Yes you need to really draw near to Him....not just want Him to make you happy- and fix everything but maybe God is wanting to humble you right now- and break you and draw you near to Him so that you are completely putting your trust in Him...that is when you will have that peace that passes all understanding, just as the Bible says: And we as christians do mess up- continually- it is a lifetime struggle for some, but God does work in us - even when you cannot see it...one day you will.
As Romans says:
Romans 7:15
I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate.

-We all do this- and we all need to seek the Lord daily- spending time with Him in prayer and word. Do you go to a women's bible study? That is so needed in our lives as women!! It keeps us accountable and strengthens our faith- God has much to teach us- and we need to hear Him, not try to hear what we wish to hear- but what God wants to do in our lives- completely submit to Him....Sometimes you think He is not helping, when He actually is- it is just not what you wanted....but it is better- and you will see that eventually- I have been through that and it amazes me when I see afterwards after so long how God had been working in that situation all along- and He changed MY Heart and showed me the wonderful plan!
Don't lose hope or faith- that is what the enemy wants you to do. But stand firm in God's word and continue seeking Him.

I'm not sure really what to say. But I will do my best. There is a God and I'm really glad to hear you say that you belive in him. I know that sometimes our lives don't always go down the path we invisioned. And honestly I'm not sure that our lives always go down the path that God invisioned for us to have. But belive me when I say that he is there, even when it feels like he's not anywhere to be found. He is there.

I'm sorry to hear that you have been through alot in your life. I know we all go through troubled times. But from the way you put this. you have probably been through more than most people would want to. I will pray for God to shine his light onto you and help you to find the path that he wants you to be on. And also if you ever do need someone to talk to. I'm going to let you know that I'm here. My yahoo sn is dabarr57andmandy2006. I am on quite often at diffrent intervals during the day. And acctually my yahoo is always signed on. So please IM me if you need to talk. I will be here for you.

Another thing: the only way to let go, to really let go. Is to have complete faith. That he will pull you through whatever it is that you are going through. He is in controll, so long as you let him be. Maybe you haven't fully relenquished the controlls. He is watching and sometimes I'm sure that it hurts him to see some of the things that you go through. But he knows that is the only way you can become who you are meant to be. He has a plan for you, and if you let him he will help you find your purpose. Just give it time. Maybe even talk to your pastor about your concerns. I'm sure that he will be there to help.

Good luck on your search I hope that you find the truth in everything that you are seeking. And remember that if you need someone to talk to...I am here!!!

when there's nowhere else to turn
all your bridges have been burned
feels like you've hit rock bottom
don't give up it's not the end
open up your heart again
when you feel like no one
understands where you are

(chorus)
someone loves you even when you don't think so don't you know you got
me and jesus by your side through the fight you will never be alone on your own you got me and jesus

after all that we've been through
be now you know i've doubted too
but everytime my head was in my
hands you siad to me
hold on to what we got
this is worth any cost so
make the most of life
that's borrowed
love like there's no tomorrow

You have a misunderstanding. God works out all things for the good of those who love God. This means that when you have totally messed up that God will still be there for you and is on your side and you will be more of the person He created you to be when He designed and formed you on the other side of your circumstance.

Those who love God do more than accept the free gift of grace and redemption. They have Jesus move into their heart and let Him become the Lord of (eventually) every area of their life. He will lead us and teach us how to reflect, represent and honor Him with our choices and actions. He does this by changing us on the inside first. It is up to each of us to die to ourself daily so that He can be more. This really means that we need to seek His way not doing things our way and asking Him to support our choices. It is when we are able to be less so that He can be more that we truly begin to live life abundantly.

It is important to remember that Jesus has done everything for us. All we have to do is be willing and open to God's hand on our life as He molds and shapes us into the man or woman He created us to be. It is just as important to remember that God loves us with His perfect love and that He fully and completely accepts us as we are today, even with all of our imperfections. We all need to learn how to rest in this complete love that He has for each of us. When we do our whole life, regardless of our circumstances has a true peace and joy that transcends all understanding.

Our God is a God of relationship, spend some intimate time with Him and crawl into His lap and ask what you should do and how and ask for his grace and mercy regarding your current challenges.
