No. I'm 16 and i started puberty around that age. I had a healthy growth spurt and everything was normal.

Lady, puberty has nothing to do with impeding growth, in fact, puberty is growth. If you are really worried, then go bring him to a doctor. But I think he will be perfectly fine.

I started puberty when I was six grew a beard when I was nine, and I'm nearly 4.5 foot tall now I'm 25 but no it didn't affect my height I am just little.
