The both of us are quiet and when i get near him i don't know what to say or how to act! And at the begining of the year he would smile at me. So i have no idea, of what to do!

It's really hard for two shy ppl to get together. You're gonna have to make the first move. If you guys actually get to talking and finding out about eachother, it will be easier for you guys to talk. Just ask questions, like what do you like to do in your freetime, hobbies, interests... If he sees that you are interested then it should take the pressure off of him. Eventually you guys should get comfortable around eachother to where you can talk like you would talk to your best friend...

First you don't know if this guy likes you or not, try to strike up a conversation with him and see how he responds to you. If the response is a positive one, then go to the next step. see if he wants to hang after work, maybe shoot some pool or something.
