and I don't mean where did Jesus come from because he was suppose to have come from God.

I really want true and honest answers. If so many people believe, then they should have some clue as to where he come from, right?

People don't just exist. and I feel that God had to come from somewhere. How else would the world exist? I don't think things can pop out of thin air.

God is the ultimate, necessary, primordial reality.

By an ultimate logic of reality, He must exist.

That is why His name is I AM - Exodus 3:14

In the terminology of scholastic philosophy, God's essence is His own existence.

The essence of something is its nature that makes it what it is.

Now it is the very nature of God to exist.

As a result, He is Unbounded Infinity, having all positive possible attributes to an infinite degree.

Finite things, on the other hand are *contingent.*

To be contingent means that they can possibly not exist or can be other than what they are. There is no logical necessity constraining them to either their existence or their attributes.

That is why finite being requires its explanation in the necessary being, God. They must have a reason for existing and being the way they are, rather than non-existent, and other than what they are.

But God's existence and nature is determined by an absolute identity pertaining to His being.

His very intellect, power, goodness, beauty etc. are all one and the same as each other, and are all one and the same as His being.

That is, He is absolutely simple.

So He is not a design with distinct parts that requires a designer.

God is eternal and self-existent. He came from nowhere because there was nowhere for Him to come from. He made all things and is subject to nothing. He dwells in eternity and is the Creator of time and is therefore not subject to time. He is eternal, all-knowing, all-powerful. He is Spirit. He is Light. he is Love. He disclosed Himself through the Holy Scriptures to His chosen servants in progressive revelations, and has "in these last days spoken to us in the person of His Son, Whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. And He (the Son) is the outshining of His glory, and the exact representation of his nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on High (the Father) " (Hebrews 1:2-3)

God came from the fulfillment of conscious - god is the eventuality of "self" awareness when it achieves a nonexistent state. So I guess that you could say that there isn't a god, yet - however, there must always have been god so that we could exist in our conscious state. It's a paradox - but a comprehendable one when all possibilities are exhausted and the self colapsess on itself.

Right, there are two schools of thought on this one either there was nothing and then it exploded or there was nothing and God moved upon that nothing and created everything. You have clearly spotted the obvious flaw in the second one.

Or (and this is not taught much) there always was something and nothing does not exist. Yeah I know it's hard to understand but it's to do with infinity.

You exactly nail why "intelligent design" theory doesn't work. If we're too extraordinary to come about without some cause, then our so-called creator would be even more extraordinary. It leads you into infinite regress.

My way of putting it is this: If a watch is too amazing to exist without a watchmaker, one must consider whether God is even more amazing, and if so, wouldn't he requires a Godmaker?

God has evolved over the centuries. Archeologists just made a wonderful discovery of a stone snake that was worshipped around 70,000 years ago. He evolved from there.

i think that God was put on an earthly test before we existed, just like us, and he did a great job, so we are now His spiritual Children. He has a Father. that's what i think.... i'm pretty sure. He is perfect

God is not human and has no human limits or laws that govern Him. He always has been, because there is only God and His idea, but time is not of God. God said, I am that I am. It is wonderful to think about.
