I am assuming you are looking for high speed ports to transfer audio and video data. If we are talking about external ports, then it would be USB 2.0 and Firewire. Firewire is commonly used for transferring video and video editing. USB tends to be better for data, rather than multimedia.

EPP stands for Enhanced Parallel Port. Since most computers don't have a parallel port and today's printers use USB, then this is a useless setting. This mode is typically enabled in the BIOS. When you boot up, you will see a message something like "Press to enter setup". Usually, it will be under a submenu called Peripherals.

IRQ 14 is commonly reserved for your primary IDE controller. IRQ 15 being your secondary IDE controller.
