I dont see any "Intall" icon or nothing...I might have copied the program wrong even, but the file I copied was big so I know it was the program, and not just the shortcut. So I copied the program and dropped it on the new computers desktop. So i Can see the file, but its not actually on the computer cuz in list of programs its not there....so how do i put this program on the new computer? New computer is a sony vaio laptop, windows xp.

Well first and foremost maybe you've burn only the files not the main installer so its difficult for you or should i say it is quite impossible to run the program to a new computer. So its better to burn again the cd but this time include the installer. then im sure you'll be able to use your software again.

or if doesn't help download the installer of the program (POWERDVD)

You cant do that. If you just copy the files that is in the program files for the powerdvd folder it doesnt mean you are copying the software. All you are copying is the setup files. You need the real disc. Or you can download a copy from the internet.

What *exactly* did you copy across? To install a programme on any machine you need the original installer, you can't just copy the Program Files folder across after you've installed it on the previous machine, it just doesn't work like that. You need to get your hands on either the installer program or the CD or whatever you used to install the programme in the first place then run that on the new machine just like you did the first time on the original machine.

create a file folder for all the files you dropped there. Open up the file, select under view "DETAILS" look for the files or icons that have a .exe after it. Click any of these and see if it starts the install process..
