They were touched by the Spirit of God. The clip was beautiful...I love the way it sounds as if there is music bn played but it's only the human voice!

Muhammad was a merchant, not a shepherd. And "he" didn't produce the Qur'an, he recited what was given to him by the angel Gabriel from God.
I wish I could watch the video, but I have dial-up and videos don't play right. I would imagine a christian starting to cry because hearing God's word touches the heart.

Maybe the Christian was afraid of being beheaded?
Sorry 'bout that, it's rather a knee-jerk reaction these days.
But, to be fair, maybe he/she was remembering an incident not long ago at another uni, where a Christian girl wanted to thank her Jesus during her valedictorian speech, and they cut her speakers off?
Why is it OK to recite the Quran but not the Bible? Isn't this still America? Or are we now living in Ameristan??
Uh...Muhammed didn't write the Quran. I thought you guys knew that??

there has been definitely no exchange interior the Quran from the time of Revelation to all circumstances to return and this could't be proved by employing using blind statements nor fairly ideals yet by employing using actual examining the texts of the Quran be huge unsleeping for be huge unsleeping, notice by employing using notice and sentence by employing using sentence. The information is properly embedded interior the words themselves. you notice, the Quranic verses extra beneficial healthy like a jig-stated puzzle. in case you get rid of a unmarried be huge unsleeping or notice or upload a be huge unsleeping or notice the meanings grow to be corrupt and the "puzzle" will grow to be incomplete. you will no longer have the skill to larger healthy a sq. peg in a around hollow - it is going to flow away gaps. in case you learn any economic harm your self you will see how the 1st sentence relates to the 2d which in turn relates to the 0.33. The 9th sentence (as an occasion) has a relation with the 8th as properly by using fact the 10th. attempt examining Sura Fatiha (the 1st economic harm) and notice how each and each sentence artwork including one yet yet another. Therein lies the information that the Quran is unchanged. Many critics have written volumes touching directly to the Quran being replaced, yet no you're able to argue approximately it mutually as they actually understand Arabic and the certainly meanings of the Quran. As for the Bible each and every person be conscious of that it somewhat is in accordance with suggestion and not extremely revelation.

The musical nature of the recitation has an appeal - truly it is a thing of beauty. The words I completely ignored.
Brian Eno did a thing once with some Quranic recitation on a loop. Very good (Eno was anticipating rap with that one).

Whether divine or not, whether true or not, it is lovely to hear it recited. Arabic is a beautiful, mellifluous language. I cried when I first heard it too -- it is deeply stirring.
I also love to hear a rabbi recite the Torah, and I love certain hymns.
It need not be your own holy writ to appeal to your senses and touch you.

At the recitation of the Qu'ran, every Christian should weep.
The Holy Spirit within them is grieved and saddened when human language is used to twist God's words.

Because the bible is forbidden to be read or prayers said in some schools but the qur'an is being read. I could cry too. America used to be a Christian country.

Uh, "miracles"?
Only if you share the complete lack of knowledge of history (especially Judaism and Christianity), physiology, astronomy, anatomy, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc, that Muhammed had.
The qur'an is SO FULL of errors, myths and fantasy that it defies description.
