Stop buying things made in China. Or try, anyway. Even if you just decide to try doing it, you'll start reading labels and sometimes you'll make a different purchase as a result.

Write to places where they sell goods made in China, too. It works! I've had success with Restoration Hardware and J. Jill.

If enough people vote with their wallets, the Chinese government will get the message that they have to be more accountable. Not only does China create a lot of pollution, they have a lot of human rights violations, they use slave labor (or near-slave labor) and profits from their products are used to persecute other nations like Tibet.

The saying is "Money talks" so let the Chinese government hear your voice and they'll make changes. These changes will probably benefit the people of China, too, so everybody wins!
