um idk about the sun swelling up and swallowing earth crap (yes scientific crap, cuz idk how they can predict this by watching a few stars and GUESSING--not all astronomical things are the same!!)
yeh it will. when jesus comes for his own (his followers), judgement day happens and ppl are sent to their final eternal places, this earth as we know it will be destroyed by fire and brimstone. a new earth and heaven will then be made.

Yes. Several things may happen:
1. The sun will eventually die and explode in a supa nova which will destroy the Earth.
2. The Earth's spin is slowing down, eventually it will stop causing devastating climatic change and destroying the world
3 An asteroid Willl hit th Earth destroying it
4 An Asteroid wil destroy the moon, which in turn will cause climatic change that will destroy the Earth
5 The USA will bomb us out of existence
6 Mass production and pollution will continue to unsustainable levels and the Earth will be destroyed
7 The Seven head demon will rule over the Earth for 40 days before God sends his angels to destroy it and the Eartg, saving only those smug Christains
One of these will happen at some point that is certain, the Earth isn't forever. (I made number 7 up)

Eventually (in about 4 billion years), the sun will enter its red giant stage, expanding out past the orbit of the earth, destroying the planet.

Yes. In about 4 billion years the sun will swell to become a red supergiant and will engulf all the inner planets including the Earth.
Of course, we could destroy it ourselves before then.

In the vastness of time the earth will not last forever because forever is a very very very long time and it is matter, energy could last a long long time. You might consider asking how do we know that existance is real at all or only as we perceive matter or the universe?

Sure. On or about April 1, 5,000,000,147 AD, the sun will run out of hydrogen in its core, go red giant, and eat the earth. Don't wait up.
