Depends what bar, as well as time of day and circumstances... at a café in the morning, it will be an espresso, in an Irish 'or Irish style) pub, I'll have Guinness, in Harry's bar, I'll have a bloody mary or some of their nicer whiskies...

I generally go for something extra good to be found there. In a generic place it is likely to be coffee, unless There is some booze I really fancy to be had. Of course, when I go to a bar, it will generally be a pub where I can get some above average beer or whisky.

Guiness, or a gin and tonic.

If you're just going to drink Bud or take shots, then why even go to the bar? You might as well get something different.

Water. I like being in control of my behaviour which doesn't happen well when I drink. And since I get pretty buzzed off just one drink, I can't even entertain moderation.

I really love the taste of a cosmo but I sometimes feel like to much of a snob to ask for one, so I get my old classic....rum and coke with a lime.

Flirtatious by Macchia.

It's a full-bodied red wine with a sweetness of the fruit it's made from.

Martini, usually. If the bar specializes in mojitos I might have that instead.
