The hardest part about sticking to it, is sticking to it. Just remember that the first 2 weeks are the hardest. As bad as you feel, it WILL get better. Do not get overconfident because with the patch, you may think it is a lot easier than what you thought it was. You have to keep going, one day at a time. And your life will be so much better afterwards!

Congratulations on the decision to quit and best of luck! You can do it!

Threw the towel in about 14 years ago. Made up my mind to stop the day after new years day, because of the parties. The reasons were, health, wealth and piece of mind. Went on the 20 a day patches, but here`s the trick I did not remove the patches at night, also I kept it on, until I found I was wanting the urge for a cigarette knowing then that the patch had run out of nicotine. I went through 1 and a half packets of patches, and a cigarette has not touched my lips since. Took me about 2 to 3 months, to quitting, feel lot better for it in many ways. found it easier even with the rest of the family smoking some managed to stop even my husband but ended up all starting again but no me. best of luck

I am in my 9th week of stopping. I found the patches were really good. Unfortunately I am allergic to them so I had to go on the lozenges.

Of course will power works, and there are loads of other things that work. My advice?...if you can't stop smoking, then at least keep quitting!!

Best of luck to you

Good luck!! Don't for get its %90 mental, habit. Their is no reason for you to smoke at all. Just keep remembering that, when you feel a craving. The craving will soon pass. Good Luck, but I am sure you will not need it.

nothing will help you unless you really want to stop. I quit smoking april 13, 2000. I tried to quit many times but that was the time i really wanted to succeed mentally. Also....if you fall and give in....dont punish yourself....just try again as soon as possible. when you succeed there will be an enormous feeling of achievement.
