Nothing at all! It is all a myth about that hot nose dog, cold nose dog thing. It is scientifically proven that the temperature of the dog has nothing to do with their health! :)

A dog having a cold nose is healthy .. It's when thier nose is hot is when you should worry!

Labrador : has been swimming (in December - Why not?)
Border collie : just got in from shoveling your sidewalk, hanging outdoor Xmas lights, and singing carols for neighbors
Toy breed : has been out having a holiday cocktail with the girls
Terrier : has been rearranging your refrigerator
Basset : too lazy to get up from under snowdrift

Really cold -- outside in the cold.
Cool/cold inside -- normal and should be wet too.
