Things that have been pickled or cured practicaly last forever. I figured that there would be a few pickled Dodo eggs around somewhere, even if they're a million dollars each. I searched the internet, and someone on some kinda upper-class forum mentioned having a pickled Dodo egg salad. Are there actually pickled Dodo eggs still around?

I am a chef. Some chef somewhere saw the buggs bunny cartoon with " the last dodo" and said "Cha dude" That night, while stoned out of his mind, named his Nicoise en salad " Nicoise eu oeufs de dodo" Then used duck eggs and dyed the yokes pink and pickled them in a sweet brine. That's just my guess,

Probably sitting on a shelf in a natural history museum somewhere, but I doubt they would be edible.
