Nourkrin tablets are a seaweed extract that will naturally increase your hair growth and make your hair thicker and healthier... much better than coating fine hair with products that create a transitory illusion of health. My mother suffered from hereditary hair thinning for years and despite only starting to take the tablets after she was 64, she's had an incredibly dramatic change in quantity and quality of hair. The only downside is that the tablets were pretty expensive. Mind you, I don't think there is a price you can set on self-confidence and my mom is a totally different person confidence-wise now that she doesn't feel worried about her hair.
For a shorter term, cheaper method, you can buy a spray product on-line called 'mane'. You buy it in the shade closest to your hair colour and literally spray it on to thicken each individual hair. It's what my mom used successfully for a couple of years before she bit the bullet, bought the Nourkrin tablets and actually fixed the problem rather than trying to mask it.

I have the same type of hair and after trying all the various products on the high street, I've found Avon's Advanced Techniques Volume & Texture Shampoo works a treat! Also use their Conditioner and Mousse.

look for thickening products or products for fine or fly away hair. spending more time on styling may help also, using thermal brushes and adding a cold blast of air at the end of styling each section to make sure the volume stays. avoid back combing your hair as it can damage. velcro or heated rollers can also help add volume

Big sexy hair is a great line, so is Redken's body full. but whichever you get make sure to get the whole line-shampoo, cond., root boost, cream-gel-mousse, and hairspray..to ensure fullness :) !
Nioxin is also a good brand-this I believe is more for people who are losing their hair, check in a salon that carries it

Try Clear Ice. Its a really thick gel, and I never thought it would work for me, but I tried it and my baby fine, flat hair was full of body and it didn't weigh my hair down. It says its made for lighter colored hair, but I'm sure it'll work for you too. Gives great shine too!

use a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner for fine hair. Blow dry it out on a round brush, starting at the roots.
