You have three light switches and three lights. The lights are upstairs and the switches are downstairs. You can only go upstairs ONCE and you can't come down.
How do you figure out which switch goes with which bulb??
Note: This isn't so idiotic question. Its not like "Oh well superman came down, laser beamed the wall, and I could see the lights, there done!"
It VERY logical.....not dumb

4 answers....
1. you can see the bulbs from where the switches are (the switches are directly at the bottom and the bulbs directly above teh stairs)
or
2. you attach strings to each of the switches and then go upstairs and pull on each string to see which goes w/ which light
or
3. make sumone else turn on the switches when u go upstairs...lol it is the easiest...
or
4.turn on one for a while tehn turn it off and turn on another one...go upstairs and the hot one is teh first one u turned on, the on one is the second,and the other one is teh other....lol most likely answer...wow i feel smart

Turn the first switch on and wait for twenty minutes. Then, turn the first switch off and turn the second switch on. Quickly go into the room where the light bulbs are. The light that is on is the second switch. Touch the remaining two light bulbs. The light that is off and warm is the first switch and the light that is off and cool is the third switch

why cant u go back downstairs?? And why can u only go upstairs once?? anyways i think the answer is have someone upstairs tell u what light u r turning on....wait a minute if u only go up one time then u cant come back down, how are u gonna go back downstairs to shut the light off?? lol i am so confused...

switch on one switch and wait half an hour
then switch on another one
go upstairs
the light bulb that is on is a match to the switch that was on
feel the other light bulbs
if one of them is hot, then it is a match to the switch that was on for half an hour ago
if one of the other is cold, then it is a match to the switch that was not on at all

okat trun on one light switch, wait 5 minutes, turn it off, then turn on a second switch, run upstairs. the light thats on is the one that's switched on. feel the other t2 for a warm one, that's the first switch you did. and the other light is the third one.
