Bound's hubby here:

Unless the Remington 870 Express has a deer barrel, it has interchangeable choke tubes ... yes, they will come out!

Good luck!

If your shotgun was bought new and it did have a choke tube it would have come with a wrench to remove it.

If you got it used and are unsure look inside the muzzle if you see three or four little notches and what looks like a line between the inner barrel and outer barrel than you have a choke tube in the barrel. If it is smooth you don't.

If your still not sure take it to the gun store you bought it at and ask.

Yeah the choke tube will come out. I have full choke, modified choke, improved cylinder choke, and turkey choke for mine. I also have rifled slug barrel. You can buy the different choke tubes and a choke wrench if you lost yours, from most sporting goods stores or Bass Pro Shops.

WITH GUN UNLOADED AND ACTION OPEN, look at the muzzel. If you can see two or four notches 1/8 inch deep on the inside and go about half way out to the out side then yes. If it is as round and smooth on the inside as it is on the outside then no. You will need a choke wrench to change them out. If it don't want to give hit it with wd-40 or such and let it set over night.

Good luck

Yes, if it is a remchoke. You might need a choke tube wrench if it is stubborn.
