I think love cannot be completely described with mere words, but...
My opinion is that love is when you think you can imagine yourself getting married, having children, and growing old with this one single person. You recognize and acknowledge ever fault they have but love them anyway because you enjoy their company and you would do anything to make them happy, even at the cost of your own well-being. Love is when you are overwhelmed with emotions that you've never encountered or familiarized yourself with, because you have never loved someone as deeply as you have at that moment. You can't explain this feeling, even whilst you're having it, because love is a power, an emotion so omnipotent, that no human word can ever express it.

"Love" begins with learning to love yourself. Recognize that you are the most wonderful person in your world, that you are your own best friend. Accept yourself. If you can love yourself, then you can love another. When you look at a prospective partner and feel that they make you complete, they complement your qualities with their own, they provide you with joy and happiness when you're with them and longing when you're separated...that may be love. But I personally believe that whatever you feel at first, real love doesn't come until you've known your partner for years. It all begins, however, with that strong feeling that starts the whole process. Then, as the months and years go by, you discover the attraction remains and the longing continues. That's love.

Hello,
Love often gets mistaken & mixed up, or highly confused with basic human emotional need.
When two people can meet each others deep emotional needs its often called love not dependancy which it often is i.e.dependancy.
Love is often just mutual dependancy.
Love is often a form of mutual positive projection & projections wear off after time, which is why people also fall out of love when the projection/s wear off.
**There are many kinds of love anyway:- self love, brotherly & sisterly love, parental love, love of life, love of country i.e. patriotism, universal love or spiritual love. Altruism a kind of love for another human being even if they are not a close friend or relative.

Love is:
Just knowing and not having to say anything
being happy for the other person when they are
never having to pretend
accepting the other person just the way they are
not trying to change them
being patient with each other
knowing that the other person will always be with you
when every moment apart feels like eternity
what you make it.

The chemistry you have between yourself, those related to you and the one you choose to share the creation of children.
It spawns off many other feelings but can wane over time.
It can be less potent when you get older.
I've felt it myself but it has never been very strong for me.
I suppose it's ultimately like a chemical form of communication between people and animals to some extent.

love is like the feeling you get when slipping into a hot bath . that feeling of warmth that goes right to the very core of your being. love is being able to trust someone implicitly not to run and hide but to stand their ground and sort you out when you reveal your darkest deepest self . love is the smile that spreads across your face just by thinking of that special someone . love is never having to say your sorry for it shows in your demeanour ( cliched i know but its true ) love is agreeing to go to dance lessons when you know you have about as much grace as a charging bull and more left feet than a millipede !!!!!!

love is when you cant picture your life without that person. when words dont even come close to how your heart really feels. when you would do absolutely anything in the world for that person to make them happy. when you guys can tell eachother anything. when they are there for you no matter what happens.and when your with them you just feel like the luckiest person in the world. cause you know that you are so lucky to have someone so wonderful. that is what love is to me.
