No. However if you increase the number to two items then it's possible. Potatoes and milk.

potatoes = vitamin C, iron, carbohydrate, manganese, other minerals, some B vitamins
milk = fat, protein, calcium, vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin B12 and other B vitamins

You would need to eat a LOT though, and you wouldn't be exactly healthy or happy but you could survive for months on such a diet.

If you want some single item that you can eat without getting malnutrition, dog food is your only option. It is the only thing you would find that provides the balanced nutrition you need to function indefinitely.

Now you just have to decide between dry or moist.

I cannot think of a single food that has all the nutrients we humans need to keep healthy. You can live eating only one thing for a short period, but you are bound to have problems if you keep it for long.

I doubt it. Since your body needs a variety of nutrients and such, you really need to eat a variety of foods to fill those needs. If you only eat ONE food item (and water, of course), you'll become malnourished.

Out of curiosity, why do you ask?

Mana, but if you can't find any of that around. Human - is not food - but it would have all the nutrients needed to survive in one single item. Yucky

For a while maybe, but there is no food that offers every nutrient needed for a long and healthy life. (except maybe Centrum, lol)

as for that "for a while" part, maybe try going with just bread, or a healthy meat like fish.

Bananas. Bananas and water together will keep you alive all by themselves. They are packed with enough nutrients to do the job.

No. Too much of anything is harmful to you and could even lead to death. The best thing to do is to have a balanced diet.

CHEESEBurger. It has vegetables, protein, calcium from cheese, and grains from the buns. Then again, some say one can die off of it too.
