Ok i have a cousin 3 years younger than I am...shes 12!! well ever since i started shopping at aeropostale she now does she used to be a wal mart dresser (nothings wrong with that) but now if i wear something new from like a store she goes there and gets a similiar shirt...now she is about to be using the same hairdresser thats closer to my house and is like 30 minutes from hers!!! she wants the same hair cut and color!! and she used to dog cheerleaders and say she never wanted to be one cuz of their reputation ( i like cheerleaders...so im not doggin them) well now shes enrolled in tumbling and wants to try out in 2 years!! after she used to be a complete 100% dedicated swimmer!! am i really jealous of her or is she gettin to close to my personal space??? plz help!! open for reasonings!!!

I don't think that you're jealous. I think it's more that you feel your individulaity is being high jacked. Please do be kind though, there is no greater form of flattery. Compliment your little cousin when she does something unique and try to build up her self esteem. It sounds to me like she looks up to you.

I wouldn't be mad at her she just wants to be like you because you are older she looks up to you.I am 26 years old and I had a cousin that was two years older and i wanted to be like her and dress like her even got jealous when she got her period first lol now i would like to be rid of it.lol anyway thats beside the point,like i was saying she just wants to be like you and she is probably going thru a phase she will get over it soon enough.

well i think your not jalous. she is jealous of you and thats why she do things like you and want to be like you. So dont think that your maybe joalaus. because when your are a joalaus so you do the same as she do and dont like her to look better than you, but in here she does all this not you. I think you dont have to be worry. i know its hart but i am also like you i dont like people coping things from me, because every one have diffirent style. and one thing dear simply is the best remember that .
Dont worry you are not joalous, its just a psychologyical reaction that you have a feeling which is normal. i it helps.

I know, younger cousins and siblings can be a pain. She admires you and wants to be like you! She's 3 years younger; why would you be jealous? It is actually kind of funny, but don't tell her I said so.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Which means your cousin wants to dress, and do her hair like you because she thinks you're really cool.

Your not jealous, just annoyed. Tell her to stop copying you. Or to be nicer, just ask her why she is doing everything that you are into. She just wants to be like you. SHes looking up to you. Tell her that she needs to find things that are right for her, not just beacuse you do it.

She is defeniently getting into your space. Its better if you each have your own likes or loves, that's what makes us different. Good luck.
