i need to know about some shot gun chokes?

my brother has a 12 ga. shotgun and it has a modified choke in it and i was wondering if it will come out of it

Depends on the model of the gun. Some will screw out. If it is made on the gun it may be adjustable. If you can, say what the model is. That would help a lot.

Only if it is in fact a screw in choke.
