no, many numbers are the same forward and backward, it is an internet hoax. It is a good idea, I wish they had it.

I doubt it. Why would the police be able to know where you are? The ATM is the property of the bank, the police have no involvement with it.

If you are concerned about safety, use the drive-up window if you have a vehicle, or, use the ATM banking business hours.

No, but they should have some sort of button or code to alert police, if you're being held up at the ATM. But I guess some people would push it just to see what happens, kind of like the boy who cried wolf. I think it's kind of a good idea, though.

Wow, I've never heard of this, but it certainly is a great idea if someone is robbing you and forcing you to use your card at an ATM!

Perhaps call your local police station and find out...what an awesome way to trick some little scumbag who trying to take what's not theirs!

NO, but if you do it 5 times the ATM will eat your card and report you to the bank as a possible thief.
